Sorry I can't help, gonna do the switch on my V6 tomorrow, but no idea re the 4-pot... Just wondering if it is the same switch though, this is mine:

(as it is in the front on the V6, I am thinking to raise the front of the car on axle stands to avoid spilling some of my precious Mobil-1.... )

Bet its the same switch, at least it looks very much the same !
Just make sure you have a new gasket / washer to screw it in with !
I suspect thats why mine is leaking ( i'm sure this is where my oil leak is coming from and also why my oil light comes on now and again )

Lucky your switch is at the front of the engine, wish mine was !!!!

How much was it, not very expensive i expect !! Did it come with sealing washer /gasket

Cheers

Have VX changed the part No for these oil presure switch's !
I have the part No down as :- 90507539, and there the same switch across the whole range ( more or less )
Markjay's switch in the picture is clearly a different part number, but the switch looks right !

Anyone !!!

Cheers

Mark

1. It costs £3.89+VAT.

2. As far as I know there were two types (for the V6), early one with a separate copper washer, later ones with integral alloy washer. The one in the picture is the later one, and has the washer incorporated on the base (pretty much like spark plugs do). Otherwise I would have just changed the washer, I doubt if it is the actual switch that is leaking...

Found on the net:

The Part Numbers are different than mine for some reason, but it does seem that it is the same Oil Pressure Switch for the entire range.
