How do you get it off?...is it just like alot of the later Vauxhalls, a series of approx 4 screws and expanding grommets or is it a bit more involved on the Omega?...mine has come adrift on one side so want to get it back in line.

I would assume it is reasonably straight forward, there are screws I know of, holding it under the rear wheel arches.

I am sure RB or MarkDTM have, sometime in their ownership, removed one.

Edit#2: Pre-facelift, of course.

this is from memory and for a facelift, it could be different from prefacelift

Open boot, you will see approx 6 colour coded grommets, remove them and you will see torx bolts, undo them.
Looking at the front edge of the rear bumper (in the wheel arch) you will see at least two more torx bolts per side and i believe there are a couple on the underside of the bumper behind the rear wheel.

Once they are all undo all you then have to do is slide it away from the car

a pre-facelift is thus (I'm guessing a post-facelift is the same)

open boot - 4 covers, 4 x torx bolts holding the top edge of bumper to body
underneath the bumper at the back are three plastic rivets - push in the centre pin, then remove the rivet complete.
top edge of bumper - by the wheel arch - there is one screw here, another about 2/3 the way down (difficult to get to with a normal screwdriver, but not normally done up tight) plus one other underneath - for a total of three per side - they are all philips head screws
then pull out the edges of the bumper, the complete unit can then be pulled off from the back. Watch for the number plate lamp whilst doing so, unplug its' cable whilst removing the bumper.

Mine'll be off soon, but in kit form.  Half a dozen more good sensor 'test sessions' should do it!

Sound's and look's pretty straight forward...just hope i dont find a broken mounting

If its come adrift towards one of the ends of the bumper near the wheel arch then it will be a mount but, never fear, they are seperate items and cost as little as a tenner.

I usually get someone to run into the back of me, and then let the insurance sort it out. [smiley=grin.gif]
