Right guys, going back to a topic started by tunnie (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1153768548), I have been speaking with the people who do the Text Checks.

It seems to be pretty reliable, and is based on the information provided by the DLVA, Police and Insurers.

We are convinced, and therefore we've signed up as an Afilliate to the scheme, so you will  be able to text using our code number to receive HPi information for any vehicle.

well i could try it - unless you have a cheaper way of checking it. Had a car stolen on Monday and logged with Police on Tuesday - so technically it should be showing?

I am assuming we need to Pm you for the code or do we supply details to yourself M-Tek Performance, certainly sounds good.

i can make the code available soon, just isnt set up on their computers yet..

i never got around to using that, the details suppied with the car was good. And it all checked out so i never bothered...

Seams good idea as its quick and easy to do once your at the car, not sure how long it takes though

2 text within a few mins sounds pretty good, be even handier if/when viewing a car, you could put people right on the spot if they are trying to sell knowing somethings amiss  :)
