Title: Autobox slipping / losing drive Post by The Barge Captain on 10. Aug 2006 at 15:49
Does anybody have any thoughts on a autobox that starts off ok, then loses drive after a bit, but if stopped for a while regains its drive?
I'm thinking lack of ATF. How much would i be looking at for a replacement box, and what is the difference between an A25 and A35 box (to fit a 2.5) |

If you repalce the box then its worth fitting an AR35 as it is stronger.
Sounds like oil lack but, worth changing it anyway as it always helps. |

Any difference in ratios between AR25 and AR35?

Slight difference, but nothing noticable.
As the boss says, change the fluid first. It is much easier and less time consuming! |
