Late 2001 2.6 V6 Elite on 125,000. Ex fleet, but I was fairly confident that the mileage was genuine :p
Going strong, and no obvious wear. (maybe time for a gearbox oil change...) |

Title: Re: High Mileages Post by Missy MV6 on 12. Aug 2006 at 16:02
1998 MV6......135k ish
Runs perfectly..... The guy who had it before us had it from new virtually and he didn't skimp on anything engine wise..I rang the main dealer up in Blackpool where it had been serviced all its life and asked them to send me a print out of all the work that has been carried out.. They did that and it makes a good read, like I said no expense spared :) Just a shame he didn't show that much attention to the bodywork.. We have done what we can but the rust is really setting in now and there comes a time when it dosen't make any sense to plough loads of money on say a re-spray. |

Title: Re: High Mileages Post by omega22 on 12. Aug 2006 at 23:44
I make that 3,057,000 miles so far on the Omegas alone.
Keep it up, all you Omega owners out there. Just a bit of fun but let's see if we can reach 10 million. Good opportunity for you to post if you haven't done so already. So far I think issunaz holds the record with his scrapped GLS at 200k and also his current MV6 with 184k, Hillper might like to translate his 680k furlongs into miles. But which of our owners is running a car with the highest miles on - original engine? Doug |
