They made a lot of difference on my motorbike when I fitted them (made the brakes firmer and easier to bleed) but I have never tried them on a car.

Well they wont have any effect on the ability to bleed the brakes, they might firm up the brakes on older models where the rubber is going soft on the flexi hoses....

They only helped bleeding on the motorbike because they were vertical, being ptfe lined the air bubbles just made their own way up from the caliper back to the resevoir. :)

They would actualy make fluid changes harder for me as I clamp the flexi hose and squeeze the old fluid out of the caliper.

what do you use to clamp the hoses with. I've thought about doing that myself but was worried about damaging the hoses.

i have them on my convertible, at the same time i did a lot of work with the brakes (uprated discs, pads, dot 5 fluid)
I personally feel the pedal 'feels' a lot firmer, even after i have been giving it beans, a lot of people i know run goodridge hoses and have made similar comments. |
