Title: Road Repairs
Post by STMO123 on 17. Aug 2006 at 22:18
Theres going to be fun and games in our road tomorrow. They're doing one of those really cheap and nasty repairs where one truck comes along and sprays tar, then another with gravel and finally a road roller to hopefully make it stick.
They did one not far away last year and there were loose chippings for about a month. Everyones car was chipped and covered in tiny spots of tar.
The air will be blue(I hope)

I bloody hate it when they do that cheap half-ass method.

My facelift bumper has millions of little chips on it, when they did the same method above on my main road to work.

Avoiding that road meant a big de-tour  >:(

Forgot to mention.....they put a little note through our door saying..."It is common law duty for all residents to protect their property"...Please dont get bitumen on your car or your carpet because it wont be our fault it will be yours, stupid!

Get this, I live in Yorkshire, the company doing it.......Colas Ltd, Exeter, Devon
