Would't say that, the pictures on AT hid the rust very well, but cheers ;) Seriously though, if its not that bad: A. The new owner could sort it. B. Have a go yourself... take all the rust off. Tinist amount of filler to smooth out the bumps, and some colour match spray.... |

Fogs are arounf £50 each from dealer, and around £20 - £25 on ebay, so I reckon £15 is a very good price...

OK, Cams SOLD so Engine no longer available as a whole working one.
The car will be totally stripped and crushes within a week. Every usable part is coming off. Switches, relayts, fuses, screws. The lot. Be quick if you want anything. I know what everything is worth so no silly offers, but I'm not greedy. Just making a quick buck and end of story. Fogs - I have two sets, all working. Side indiactor lamps by the bucketful. Spaeksrs anyone? Speaker covers? Mirror switch? Electric mirrors? This is the time to name that part and ask...... |

Hiya Fin, what are the 6 HT leads like? Have they been soaked in oil?
Mine are pretty awful, and seeing as my Omega is an N reg CDX V6 with 120k, I am not too particular about using new GM parts as long as I keep it on the road (I'm saving for a facelift elite!) If the leads are in very good nick, what do you want for them, out of interest? Cheers James |

Title: Re: Ronnie Project 11 arrived Post by RonaldMcBurger on 20. Aug 2006 at 08:23
The drivers bank leads are new, passenegre side I can't tell yet. I was going to keep them for me - just in case TBH. DIS pack is also staying, unless anyone wants to make me an offer on either/both?

This car has REAL Xenons and TILTING STEERING WHEEL. Alloys will be very cheap and it has one BRAND NEW 17" tyre!
Exhaust mid sections are fairly new and Genuine VX ones! Picture the whole car. Everything is available from the engine (what is now left) to a single screw. If you need it, let me know. No freebies but I am not a shark either. |

Few prices if you can please! (will see what I can afford)
ABS ECU (just hope it matches the same as mine, duno what number it is yet!) Rear Leccy Windows & switches & such... Fuel-flap locking solenoid the plastic lining/covering/whatever it is which sits infront of the battery (follows the line of the middle section with all the german warning stickers on, etc...) Central arm rest (if it has it) just the spring for the locking clip N/S boot-hatch fog light plastic glass covering thingy Appologies for any spelling mistakes or sounding a little dumb on describing items, but I just finished a night shift at work and feel like crap! [edit]Oh, and will the 1999 user manual cover my 98-R baby facelift? if so that too![/edit] |

Title: Re: Ronnie Project 11 arrived Post by sounds2k on 21. Aug 2006 at 20:12
is the wiring loom for the CCRT system complete, is it the Bose setup? If so, I'd be interested in restoring that setup in my old omega that got butchered. This means I'd need the head unit and cage, wiring loom from driver's kick panel to amp under parcel shelf and back to speakers (unless there are any joins in between?) and the amplifier. It has the correct speakers in the doors and the parcel shelf though.
Does the MV6 have a rear blind, if so does it work and what colour is the interior - I'm after a dark grey one ... |

OK guys. Busy day indeed today. Thanks a million to Mark and Pete for their invaluable help in stripping this car to its bones in 2 hours! Not much left to take off. I'll be working through the orders tomorrow then I will list exactly what is available, inlcuding the tilting steering column, full ECU & immobiliser with key chip, front fog lights, Alternator, PAS pump, etc.
Anyone want these MV6 seats or do I burn them? Two front pipes with CATS! Good front bumper in silver. be very quick now guys. Car is being scrapped on Wednesday hopefully, so whatever you want ask now. Screws, clips, bolts etc. All available. Perfect glovebox with working catch etc...... |
