would love it, but its too rich for me right now :(
alternatively, MIGHT consider a TD estate but it has to be manual. whats the economy like on the V6 lpg's? |

Similar to TD In expect, but I would rather have the diesel over ANY Lpg job.

Fuel consumption as follows
Thrashing while towing - ie full throttle up hills and away from roundabouts & lights 12mpg Normal towing 16mpg same as 2.0 on petrol Commuting down the lanes - rare 3 figure speeds and quite a bit of acceleration 17mpg, 19 on petrol Long run not towing - I'll let you know I have a lead right foot - almost every drive sees 6000rpm So a thrash consumption would be equivalent at cost to petrol or diesel at 40mpg |

Not quite - but I getter than super mini acceleration. Best when empty to and from storage. It is hilarious watching people passing or trying to pass. You get people running out of steam people speeding who never speed all a bit worrying - I am NOT holding them up but they stil MUST PASS. Mind you I have been cruising at 70 with van (naughty) and been passed by another outfit. I have gone to mid 70s but tyres are only rated at 81 and is also the official maximum speed of the van (in the manual) |

You are correct, and yes it isn't hard to get a converted Omega. My dad got a 3.0 V6 already converted, with only minor faults for under 1K It can be done just got to look in the right places. :) |
