Title: Leccy Seats & Mirror Problems! Post by tunnie on 21. Aug 2006 at 14:58
Getting a bit narked off with the leccy gremlins on Project B:
Drivers seat & leccy mirrors are dead :( All fuses checked, double checked with a meter. - Kick pannel to switches on drivers side removed and checked, switches making a good connection & all clean. All connectors underneath the seat are good, nothing loose. So i have no movement at all on the drivers side, no clunking or buzzing noises, just dead! Any ideas? |

I am guessing its using all original connectors.
Might be worth trying to power them from a seperate live and earth feed to see if they work. have you tested to see if the wires are live at all. leccy mirror maybe the connections are crap. Not unless someone has blown the motor to the seat and what with the mirrors being connected they killed them too. |

both seats where dead, until Jamie cleaned up the connections on the passenger side.
Just going to get a meter out and see if there is any power going to the motors... Its unlikey i think that the motors have blown, there are differnt motors for each movement... |

I assume there should be some power going to seats, check for existence of the correct power feeds...

Three going into one module perhaps one has blown and it affecting the rest might be worth trying them one at a time as I am sure mine had three connectors one to each motor and I am sure they can be removed one at a time from the module. Worth checking. |
