Thats like what I used to do but now I just put a max bid on and hope for the best. :)

depends you might get lucky and people forget to bid, that will prob go for 4 or 500

I would have to agree, if only because of the lowish mileage  :)

Yeah, the laqure peeling off won't help, that looks very bad for a '98 car. My '95 project has a few tiny bits comming off but nothing on the scale pictured on that auction... :o

Missed that although it doesn't look too bad, I would say its possible to fix, if the paint work was broken I would have said not to bother though.

problem is though, its a right PITA getting paint work to look right again

As i found out from Project A, its a real pain getting it to look better, often paintwork as to be left to the proffesionals  :(

I could be wrong but I wouldn't have thought getting a small patch of laquer redone would cost that much money, even cheaper if your friends with the spray shop peeps. I shouldn't have thought a repair job would look too bad on a dark colour.

Currently at the moment I am sorting a few paintwork problems silver is not the best to work with but my main problem if I can find a suitable replacement will vanish.
