Now that is one fast mother! I know two people on here who will be getting very sentimental now.

"heating problems" Could be anything, I suppose, but if was an 'easy fix', I guess they wouldn't be letting it go for nowt. |

Humm could be a HG fail, or oil cooler... Is it just me or is there loads of room in that engine bay? - A lot of things seam hidden as well |

I'd imagine it's pretty nose-heavy too!
To be honest - I'd rather go for a 2.3 full pressure turbo version - they're good for 230 BHP in Aero spec ... and that's before any mods !! |

that was the problem with most fast Saab's & Audi's the engine was mounted too far forward. Good for cabin space & room, but rubbish for handling

The 3.0 V6 had a lot of reliability issues in the 9000 and is worth quite a bit less than the 4 pot turbos.
Saab made a few tweaks and I am not convinced they were good! That price is cheap though. Rust is not an issue on these (unless it is very old or has been crashed!) and in Grffin trim they are fully loaded. Would still rather have a manual 2.3 Aero (225bhp standard) Little tip to anyone thinking about a Saab 9000. While they are damn good cars, avoid the autos, the boxes are very poor. |

I'd go for the 2.3 turbo as well... easy to get proper power out of them, although all you'll be doing is smoking the front tyres.
That one has too many doors too, personally I don't carry prams etc in my car ;D |

I guess I'm one of the unfortunate ones as I have a nearly 2yr old son who uses the buggy still :) |
