great site, looks like i may need some of the articles re oil filter and sparkplug changes...

My local garage has just decided to abandon my service after they couldnt do either...

well at least she's through the mot

Well I wouldn't use them again, find somewhere else or better; like you said read through the "how too's" & do them yourself.....

and yes i will be going somewhere else (It was a time problem with working away tomorrow and needing tax today )

Allready found stuff of interest... id love cruise on my Omega.... Hmmmm a project i think lol

You need stalk. If its a manual, you'll need clutch switch. But you need ECU enabled, and that needs a real Tech2 machine...

Welcome to the forum. If the above is a little brief (albeit accurate) try a search on cruise and you'll see many of us have done a diy job. Stalk £30+vat (new) Clutch switch £20+vat (new) ECU - Vx price usually £40-60 & all you have to undo is three screws and plug it in.
