Hello fellow Forumites..... ;D
Good to see a dedicated Meega Forum. Some great news from me, just today bought a 2003 Elite 3.2 Auto with decent miles for £6500 (Trader). Black with black leather, all the toys inc park assist and sat nav (sadly not full colour though), Bose stereo etc. I started with a 1996 Elite, which I traded last year for a 2003 2.2 CDX....what a mistake.. Picking up next Friday, so if anyone sees a nice black Elite for sale at the Car Shop in Northampton or in the Trader, your too late.. ;D ;D ;D coz its mine...... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif] |

Before you pick it up make sure the cam belt & tensioners have been done [3 years or 40000 miles] average garage price about £300.00 or ask for discount |

Picking the Elite up friday afternoon, so I'll try and get some nice pics to post before it gets too dirty. Paying extra to have the whole card treated with 'Guardex'. Anyone else tried this treatment? 8-) |

Me too, although I did get a Panny Plasma and some Mission 775's before Chrimbo. So as I've done the HI FI bit for the year and the camera is in the cupboard till airshow season...I thought I'd better get onto the car thing. Traded my old Elite 3.0 for a facelift 2.2 CDX exactly one year ago, and spent the whole year trying to persuade myself its 'nearly' as good as an Elite.....but its not... ::) Hence the upgrade tomorrow :y |

No car until Monday..... >:( >:( >:(
No cambelt history as previously promised, so refused to take delivery until its done.... They even told me it fine as its 80,000/8yrs, so I made them call a Vaux garage, and guess what they said. My confidance in 'the car shop' is dropping, although they will fill the tank for my inconveniance. |
