Very useful, good photos, I shall keep it in mind if I have to do mine. reminds me of changing the CV gaiter on the Cavalier, you had to take off the front brake disc, and the wheel bearing nut was also done up to some ridiculous torque, all for the sake of a 10quid rubber bit!. Then some clever person invented one that was split which you could super glue in place ! ;D.

what happens between removing hub carrier bolts and fitting bearing as there no picture to explain....is there a special way to get old bearing off...got humming on front so think mine need doing.....

after removing the caliper & disc & taking off the hub dust cap, undo the centre retaining hub nut & it should pull off. pressume your fitting new hub with bearing complete. |

would imagine you could get the bearing on its own but i fitted hub complete. :y
