That connector came loose.. putting it into limp mode.... meaning it pulled away about as fast as a snail! |

Excellent news!
So is the gearbox problem just down to the broken pin on the connector? If you need to source a new pin to repair it you might want to have a look at http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk/. They have an assortment of different pins for various automotive connectors. You could extract the old pin, solder a new one onto the wire and then poke it back into the connector. Failing that I guess you could get a complete connector from a breaker and splice the wires together in the loom. If you could extract the pin you could do this just for the broken pin, thinking about it. Kevin |
