Title: Hi y'all :) Post by Joneyentee on 25. Apr 2007 at 23:30
Hey everyone :)
I'm Paul and I'm in Derby. I bought my first Omega last month (2.5i V6 CDX) and I'm very pleased with it...... so far ;D |

Hi Paul,
I also bought my first Omega yesterday. Its the 2.5 V6 CD Saloon , manual gearbox. Drives absolutely superb. I cant believe how nice the engine sounds compared to a normal four pot. Matt :) |

Have to agree with that. The V6 sounds so nice without sounding 'souped up'. Especially compared to the Xantia I had before with 178k on the clock anyway! lol I had to go for an estate tho. I would say it's because of the dog, but she perfers to sit up front with me...! :o ;D (Hope she doesn't read this!) And thanks for the warm welcome guys :) |

:)Nice colour, (not that i'm biased!) Throw away that big black box next to your o/s inner wing & replace it with an induction kit from pipercross/k&n if you wanna make your 6 pot sound even better. Really opens up the bottom/mid range, sounds great but only if you boot it, no difference otherwise, so you can still cruise round in stealth mode!!! :D :D :D |

I've yet to come across any induction kit that truely improves performance on Omegas... |

Yeah ok. I 99% grandad mine around, @ 44 i'm way past being a boy racer & this is the first duccie kit i've ever bought. Granted it's not ground breaking but it needs less throttle mid range, sounds good on song, does no harm & only cost £70 delivered. If you've yet to come across any SMALL improvements how many have you tried? If not what do you suggest? |
