Symptoms....

Steam coming from rear of engine when engine hot
Rubbery smell sometimes
Header tank is really really stained orangey colour
Ticks over roughly
Seems to use water
When i changed the rocker gaskets i noticed mayo in the oil filler neck

If not then what do you think it could be?

not oil cooler matey ! :y try flushing coolant system new hbv check hoses at rear of engine !! :y

Probably worth giving the breathers a clean through & if you haven't done already, a quick oil change :y

Hi, cleaned the breathers out and to be honest there was hardly any muck in at all. Havent changed the oil yet , was going to but just havent had chance yet.
