slow down .. !!!   I'm no expert .. hopefully one will arrive soon .. BUT I do know cam gaskets are totally different to head gaskets !  major difference !

Also I believe that there is aknown problem with oil coolers that give the same results you have ... and an oil cooler change is much easier than a head gasket change  ..

PLEASE wait for an expert  .. I don't think it's any where near as bad as you believe !!

Wont be head gaskets, rockers wont deliver that much.

Oil cooler by the sounds of it, if your spanner able you can do this yourself...Wuld not recommned driving if you can help it.

Presume theres no mayo./gunk on dipstick?

just re read - dipstick is fine, oil cooler can be done in a day by competent diyer. Cost, including oil cooler, numerous coolant flushes and various seals will be under £200 if you have access to trade card.

Its not too bad a job, have done 2, stripping it down to find the oil cooler and plate in the valley of the V. Maybe worth replacing thermostat and even water pump while your there to aid gunk removal. Also need to flush / back flush radiatior.

Oh and DONT bend  oil cooler pipes  :y

Oil cooler most likely, not head gaskets...   ...fairly common fault. Easy-ish fix but you need 'crows foot' spanners to undo lower end of oil pipes...
