Title: newness
Post by wedge on 31. Oct 2007 at 17:49
hello to all,

i've had my "2.6 24v v6 cdx estate auto 2001 converted to gas" for about a year, as with cars, things occasionally go wrong. i took it to a vauxhall garage & it needs new door mirror switch, external temperature sensor & a part for the alarm, they said they'd need it for half a day & it would cost £340!!!  :'(  so i came online to get a haynes manual, but they only seem to go to 1999 - so at the end of a long story, that's how i made it here, searching for knowledge.

i know that when problems start, you have to keep on top of them, i'm certainly not rich & £340 will hurt, but i still get a thrill when i drop a cog & hear that unmistakable v6 roar inside it's belly - maybe the £340 would be better spent on a holiday !
