Title: omega convert says hi! Post by johnlewis on 17. Feb 2008 at 23:03
Hi all my names John Lewis (yeah I know, like the shop!) Just bought my black Omega 2.0 16v CDX this evening and well happy with it - apart from the lack of blower motor, which driving at minus 3 was interesting at least! Got through a whole petrol stations worth of paper towels...
Its a completely different drive from my old MkIV Golf GTI but I like it a lot. A marathon not a sprint is how best to describe it. But great. So, I'll be sniffing round these parts looking for breakers to get my car perfect - well not as perfect as most on this forum! I'm a 32 yr old freelance graphic and web designer born in Portsmouth but living in Macclesfield, and I'm also a DJ by night specialising in dance (but good wholesome stuff). FYI, and before I post in wanted, I'm in need of: blower motor (or fan whatever) for the interior heating (works but no fan) - urgently! silver trim for back bumper and plastic rear door trims left side climate control switch (or just a replacement LCD if you can get it on its own) little joystick for mirror adjustment Thats about it! So hi and thanks for having us, and PM me if you have any of the above. Ta very much and see you around. John :y |

Hiya albitz no not yet, any idea which one it may be? Theres a couple missing actually unless thats normal. Whats it marked up as in the manual? 10, 4, 24, 27 are missing, and 10 & 24 are blank on the diagram. Is it 4 per chance? Looks like it could be from the handbook. Loo-Knee - cheers mate I'll be floating around OOF quite often me thinks. Finally thanks for the prompt and welcome replies! Amd apologies for going way off topic first post, it won't happen again! J EDIT: sir ffcgary1 - cheers - was doing that but got carried away on the welcome post, always the opportunist! Promise I'll stick to the rules from now on! |
