and wats that when its at home? :-? a friend has an astra and when he tries to start it it just cliks and all the dash lighs start to flash and a light showing a car with a spaner through it stays on. any ideas.

This code generally related to either an iffy swirl flap actuator or a dodgy MAF.

On the swirl flap, sometimes the linkage pops off or the flaps stick, you need to take the plastic engine cover off to see it.
