no idea what parts are scattered across the oof servers keyboard lol...

i think its more important that it works rather than pleasing to the eye :P

Certainly is.  Even better than that, that particular one (I must be the only person that has around a dozen on those things!) allows me to get on to your company's network.

Do i take it you are now able to decode ncdc2013 as i have a ncdc2013 + GID paired but ive asked vx to tech2 a CID i bought to it but they say the screen is asking for the stereo code :(
I havent got the code as i bought as a paired unit
Any help asap from anyone around the northampton shire area as i'm up visting relatives but was due to go back tomorrow to devon

If the CID is paired to another unit somewhere, then I Dont think it is a while you wait job, takes some time and soldering.

Like ive said the unit is working fine with my GID but the CID is displaying safe every couple of seconds so i think i either need the code for the ncdc or i need to some how reset both into delivery mode and recode them

Okey dokey, briefly on here for a few mins.

Is this a proper veccy-c screen, which is very different to Omega CID?

I currently may not have full diags capability, as Marks DTM currently has my CANdi lead.

I can get the depair code off, but without the CANdi, can't pair them.

I have other diag tools that claim to be able to pair/depair stuff, but actually doesn't do it properly on the Omega. Not tried on a Vectra-C, but can do if you are prepared to take the risk. If you are repairing with same code, I'm guessing it should be OK.

All i need is the code from radio as vx seem to think all they need is that to pair the screen,the CID i have is part number 13156065 YF sticker

No access to parts list currently, so no idea if CID is correct. Do all onboard systems in your car work when the CID is fitted - eg, all lights (inc brake lights), central locking, leccy windows, instruments etc etc

Is CID depaired state? I do not have a image for depairing Vectra-c CIDs.

I should be able to get pairing code for existing radio/GID.

I think Marks DTM is away for a few days.

Sounds like right screen. Not sure if it will have right config code on, sadly I can't resolve that without my CANdi lead if it has the wrong config code (in which case, BC will be wrong)

Only way to tell is live data reading on the CID when fitted.

So would a vauxhall techy be able to tell thats the question.
And say it was still paired would that mean its useless or could you pair it with my stereo.
Any chance i could pop over tonight or tomorrow  :-[ or am i being to pushy as i was meant to be leaving tonight but could stay an extra couple of days if i know i can get this sorted

Tech2 can tell current status, select CID, then check Data Display, and it will say something like:

Delivery State - all well in the world
ID NOK (Yet) - up a smelly inlet, with no oar

If the latter, the screen is a doorstop, unless someone has a blank image for one.

I can discover pairing code tonight, should be in around 5:30ish, as I'm leaving work earlier today. I'm in Brackley - the other end of Northants to where you are.

Sadly, do have to make a charge for discovering code to put in my Tech2 fund to offset the costs of them  :'(

Price column 2 on http://theboy.omegaowners.com/tech2/prices.shtml is what I normally say - this one is more of an unknown as having to do without tech2 due to MDTM having my CANdi, so say £20 and we'll cover as much as we can cover?

This other unit you have (2015).... do you happen to have the telematics unit as well??

I can sell you a broken one (actually make that two).

If you do find one I have the dark silver Vectra C bezel for it and also a dark silver 2015 bezel as well.

They are quite hard to find ive seen a few on german ebay but not paying that price for one,would be interested in bezels just in case i do find one tho and are the ones you have broken repairable ?

The Telematics bezel is mint, the 2015 i'd have to check.

If you get a telematics with the standard black bezel we could do a swap with the bezels.
