Anyone going to the York meet need any Oil? 10/40 semi-synthetic. I have a Few spare 5ltr bottles.

Not vx oil but to OE spec. I use it in my car and never have any probs. I have used it in many other cars I have serviced and no comebacks so very good oil.

Petrol engine oil recommendations up to model year 1997 (except Lotus Carlton, Frontera and Monterey): SGCD/SHCD/A2/G4. 'Improved lubricity oils': A3/G5
Engine oil viscosity recommendations prior to 2001: -20°C to above 40°C, 10W-40/10W-50/10W-60; -15°C to above 40°C, 15W-40/15W-50; -10°C to above 40°C, 20W-40/20W-50. For MY 2000 onwards is the same but they recommend 5w/40 or the alternative is 10w/40. Same spec as OE.

so what make is it bud ??

I think it's tetrosyl but repackaged for Motaquip. I have been buying the oil 5ltrs at a time not realizing I already had some oil, but unfortunately bought to much as after tyding up my garage found 6 bottles unused so it will take me a long time to use, just though some oof members might need some for oil changes that might be coming up soon.
