Need just the chrome "V" part as mine is split and plastic chrome is lifting.
Am prepared to buy complete grille if seller doesn,t want to split,although I do want the chrome to be as near perfect as possible.
Any body got 1 for sale....colour of outer unimportant or  paint condition.

With a bit of careful cutting an trimming the standard chrome V off a standardgrille will fit. I have done this myself. Also I then sprayed it with clear lacquer to try and seal the chrome.

Thanks Mike...interesting solution as I didn,t think they were the same size in height..accept the length would need to be cut.I will have a look as the  body shop which did some repairs for me fitted a brand new standard grille last year as couldn,t get the irmscher to replace,like for like and insurance agreed refund.

Do you have the the full irmscher front airdam or just the irmscher grill which is fitted to mini facelift elite's is so the grill & V are the same part you can buy just the V from the dealer and I don't think it's that bad a price, you might surprised :y

a whole irmscher grill off the stealer is only £50 + the VAT

comes with an opel badge only though

Dealer told me that mini facelift irmscher grille was now obsolete and no parts available so insurance company fitted a standard cd/cdx grille with chrome V.
It now seems that the chrome part is just slightly shorter on the irmscher grille so will some carefull cutting etc it can be made to work.
So armed with a Dremel and some fine grit paper will give it a go this weekend..weather and work permitting.

my dealer  will get me a grill for my Mini f/l V6 i nearly bought one they had looked it all up and theyre availible but only opel badged i was told they would have it within 2 weeks  if i paid the £50 + vat upfront

Thanks TMX...I decided to go the diy route and am going to modify /adapt a standard chrome part from grille to accept the Irmscher grille...wish me luck with the dremel.
