Trouble is vamps you can hear them from miles away and they leave little to the imagination when you get a bit closer;)

The armoured saloon vehicle was the most reasonable way of getting into and out of a flagged area without advertising your presence too much ;) ;) 8-) :y

True. Toyota apparently have the upper hand in warmer climates. Where it's a bit sandy. :-X

Yep you're right enough there Kevin.  Strangely enough, away from the urban environment - in terms of personnel protection, overall practicality and reliability, the Landcruiser kicks the LR's ass.

LR's were used in the UK theatre, in the civilian application, as a result of so much military inventory being available.  That's not to denigrate the margue.  The LR in all of it's guises was more than up to the task. :y Saved many lives ;) ;) And still does :y

Hmmm i wonder if our new area manager would go for one of as a patrol vehicle instead of a segway??????   ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D
