Been to my local vx dealer this morning to pick up a few parts. The guy who served me turned out to be an old mate from school. He didnt want my tradecard as he stated he had already put me on the system and I was getting a better discount than on the tc. Prices charged are as below, see what u think:

Timing Belt Kit Complete              £103.08 + Vat
10 Lts 10/40 Oil                          £21.78 + Vat
Oil Filter                                       £2.87 + Vat
Plus loads of seals and sealant.

Have I been conned or did I get a good price??  :-?

Oh yeah, one thing I noticed was the timing belt has no lines on to mark where it should go for timing set up  >:(

oil and filter would be would have been cheaper on TC. ;)

So the oil would have been cheaper on tc for 10 litres or is your price for 5 litres??

The price I listed was for 10 litres

TC price oil is around £35 for 4 x 5 litres on a buy 4 for the price of 3  :y

Vx quoted me £97 + VAT for V6 timing belt kit on TC - Contitech kit  off net £60!!  Vx 10/40W semi is £35 for 20 lits on TC!! :-?
