had the AA round as the car wouldn't start (facelift 2.5 CDX W reg) Engine management light wouldn't go out but eventually did and then the car started. He suspects the crank sensor any clues as he couldn't read the fault codes at all.

he did not carry a paper clip?

and yes sounds like crank sensor, which is a code 19. do a paper clip test.

did the paper clip test code 19 definitely getting new sensor fitted thanks ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
