well not repaired as in the car
but repaired as in new tow bar and electrics :y
i should get it back tomorrow if not later on today :y

i'm not going to bother with getting the hire car
if i need to go anywhere i'll use ann's civic

They should only take a couple of hours to do the towbar and electrics, so you should get it back this afternoon Nick.

i gotta pay £50 if i want the hire car
i just called her insurance and told them to pay it
just waiting on a phone call now to find out if they are going to or not

just had a call off the garage
they have just looked over my car and everything is sound

they have ordered a new towbar and electrics from vauxhall
not sure what type they are
if anyone has got a pic then that would be great

they are also putting all new sound proofing down on the boot floor

they said it will take a few days to do the work plus waiting for bits so is hould have it back end of this week  :y

plus her insurance company are now talking to there claims department to arrange a offer for me :y

hi nick .have they classed it as a uneconomical repair ? thats were they say its going to be to exspensive for them to repair it .you keep the car and they pay you the market value of what your car was worth just before the bump.then they nock the cost of the salvage off usualy about 15%.The insurance company said they would pay for mine to be repaired and they would supply a hire car like for like ie.if your motor is a estate car well the hire car must be a estate car .and they paid the deposit for the hire car !

58 plate vectra and what a shed it is

2.5 v6 cdx by any chance Nick? Considering they told you you would be getting the same size'd car. Well the vectra is smaller than our one.

dont think its a 2.5
its a design
and its slow very very slow
ill pop the bonnett after to have a look a small 4 pot ;D

its a 1.8 shed no wonder its slow

Thought they were going to give like for like? Its missing 2 pots and a hell of alot of hp as well.
