Hi,

Just wanted to ask you all to wish me luck. My aircon is being regassed today between 5 & 6pm and I am hoping that's all it needs...

:o depending on how often its used,( in my case alot) it should really be done yearly, and not just when it stops working as the oil in the system degrades and then starts to wear compressors ,costing lots :-[

Oh, dear, not a good start.

He was due at 5-6pm and it's now 6.15pm and still no sign.

Oh well, looks like he's missed his chance and I better get my shorts out for Saturday :)

My 2.2 lasted 4.5 years before needing a regas, but it was due to an ally pipe going to the condensor that had corroded and being a small pipe apparently couldnt be welded, so i had to have a new condensor  :(
I think that was the only non GM genuine part I had fitted to my Omega in the time I had it. (It was about £100 quid cheaper than Vx dealer quoted, even on trade)

I'm a poor man  ;D ;D
Guessing there are more skips than migs out there so how many from your meet are coming  :D
