Bloke goes into a pet shop to buy a parrot.

Shop keeper says he's got one that tap dances, gets the parrot, places it on a tin and sure enough it starts tap dancing.

"I'll have it" says the bloke.

"I'll throw in the tin" says the shop keeper.

Bloke gets the parrot home to show his wife, puts the parrot on the tin and it just sits there.

Bloke takes it back to the shop, and says, "I can't get it to tap dance"

The shop keeper takes the lid off the tin and says, "That's because the candle has gone out"
