hi all, ive managed to join this fantastic forum at last, ive had big problems in the past trying to register. i was a former member in the past of another omega site, but when this forum was set up i dident manage to join from the dark side. i dont drive a omega yet, but had several in the past and have done all the usual fixes etc. and have a lot of help from marks dtm and others who are on this forum. i know a few things about cars as i was a mechanic years ago, so i hope i can be a active member here, and help others here. i drive a volvo v70 2.4T at the moment but hopefully not for long, total nightmare. fly by wire etc..anyway hi.. rob. :)

thanks everyone for the warm welcome. will have to sell the volvo, and look out for a good omega, elite or tourer, maybe.. also im finishing off a saab 95 2001 car to sell so between the volvo and saab, i should get a desent elite. :y

wow what a welcome. ill be looking at a mv6 to replace the volvo 2001 v70T at some point, as ive said, ive had several elites in the past, and been totaly happy with them, what things to look out for on the mv6, how do they compare with the elites? are they faster etc, thanks rob.

thanks but dont buy a 2001 v70T total nightmare. ive had older volvos as well but this thing is crap. i will find a desent omega soon. ;D

the people i remember are laidback, the boy, marks dtm, and ronald mc burger. and probaly a couple more. ronald mc burger with his constant bad back..

Laidback was one of the first to welcome me in the Newbies. We've not heard from him in ages, unless some one can prove me wrong.
