I kind of work from home. I am my partners full time carer at the minute and I look after the house and kids as well.
Technically I guess I am carer/dad/househusband! :-/ |

We move to new offices at London bridge in two weeks time >:(, called saving money, but I still work from two offices the other being less than 10 minute drive from my house, I will only travel to hot desk at the new office when there are meetings to attend. Otherwise will either work from the other office or from home :y......as at the new office if everyone turned up n the same day they would'nt have enough desks ;D ;D

When I took on this job (2007) I set up to work from home 'cos HO is in London - and I'm not. But now I spend 2 days in London (cheap hotel overnight), 1 or 2 in the Home Office and 1 or 2 out & about.
I'd definitely get sidelined & put in a rut if I stayed home all the time. There's somethings I find you can really only say / hear when you're with the people. |

Severe congestion on the way to my home office this morning - my youngest was on the landing at the same time as me coming out of the bathroom! :o
I had to brake quite sharply as he came around the corner. Will have to leave my bedroom about 30 seconds earlier tomorrow in case he is there again :y Damn its good to work at home ;) ;) |
