About ten minutes ago, I heard two strange buzzes from my speaker, followed by a widespread power cut which lasted about 15 seconds.

Would this be caused by a power surge? I've never experienced a cut of such short duration.

Needless to say it has caused alarms to go off nearby and now I have to go round the house resetting my carbon footprint. ;)
