Title: Help Please - Prop Shaft Removal Post by Boiler Man on 28. Jul 2009 at 20:29
Hi Guys
I'm attempting to replace the clutch on my 2.2 DTI 03 Plate. A few of the lads on here have given me loads of advice and I have read the Maintenance Guide on Clutch change. I've got my parts, Car up and on stands and more stands :y Now because of the pi***ng rain, I haven't be able to get stuck in yet, but I've had a gander underneath and the only thing that's puzzling me is how you get the Prop Shaft out of the way. I can see the 3 bolts mention in the guide to disconnect from the Gearbox, but do I have to take the middle bearing out and disconnect at the Diff'? or am I missing something? :-/ :-/ Any advice would be appreciated. Hoping to get on with it in the morning. If it Stops Flameing Raining!!! >:( Cheers :y |

Cheers.
Wondered that but it looks like it won't drop passed the gearbox crossmember and exhaust bracket. Does It? :-/ |
