Like with v6 crank sensors, I'd recommend you don't use 2nd hand.

Title: Re: camshaft sensor Post by mathewst on 28. Jul 2009 at 22:53
Also one good question.
I think my car is Y22, not Z22 engine. But what is the difference? From what I saw so far everything looks like the same |
Title: Re: camshaft sensor Post by mathewst on 28. Jul 2009 at 22:54

Title: Re: camshaft sensor Post by mathewst on 28. Jul 2009 at 22:56
Also one other thing.
Does camshaft sensor have any purpose, cause Opcom reported it isn't working but the car seems to be wokrking fine |
Title: Re: camshaft sensor Post by mathewst on 28. Jul 2009 at 23:12
Now this is odd.
Samrey sent me a link and it says the sensor is for X20XEV engines also as well as Y22 and X22 engines. When I cheked some other pages on ebay I found several sensors for X20XEV engines and they are 3 to 4 times cheaper than those listed for 2.2 engines. Can anyone elaborate this a little?? |

TC site states two different part numbers for the 2.0 and 2.2. The 2.2 is dearer
