Title: Free facelift interior Post by joshwyatt on 24. Oct 2009 at 21:40
I've got a cloth interior in black with door cards from a 2001 ex police saloon. There are rips and tears, but doesn't look bad really and the door cards are ok too. It's all free, but must be collection only I'm afraid. I'm in Kidlington, which is 4 miles from Oxford city centre. It's not all removed yet but will be soon.

I'd take the doorcards and I will ask over on ABS to use our Internal Mailing System.....
Failing that, I'd be happy to pay for a courier, bit too far otherwise I'm afraid. How desperate are you to get rid? *EDIT* They can be collected on Saturday morning if that's OK? |

I'm afraid I can't do Saturday morning, I'm not going to be around. I'd prefer to get rid of the whole set in one go, but if you really only want the door cards that'd be fine. But please note this is from an ex police vehicle, they're ok...but by no means great. Bits are peeling and there are marks here and there. That's why it's free ;D
If you'd like some photo's I can take some tomorrow in the daylight and upload :y |

Bugger theat's a shame - a mate is coming up to Leeds for the footy and willing to swing by your way.
I understand that they might not be in the best of condition, not a problem. If Saturday is out, then I'll keep trying - another ABS member has offered to fetch from Nottingham, so just goptta get them from you to him really! ;) |

Sorry about that. I don't think I can really re schedule Saturday, but I'll have a go. What time do you reckon he'd be here for? And for reference, I'm in Kidlington...which is 4 miles from Oxford city centre.

Would be mid-morning I'd expect. Leeds is about three hours from you, and kick off is 3 pm. I guess he'd want to be at Elland Road about 2ish, so say 10 - 11 o'clock - I'll ask though.

PedroMV6 is having the doorcards, anyone want the rest? All parts of the rear seats, and both front seats with seatbelts and side airbags.

Forgive my ignorance but I've not seen any black cloth seats in a Facelift, usually sort of dark grey.
If they are deffo black then no good. I'm after a drivers seat in grey cloth, must be free of rips and all electrics work etc :y.......can you help? Mick |

The cloth is slightly darker than the velour one's. Cloth was only fitted to police spec and GLS, so do you need cloth or velour? The drivers seat has no rips but does have marks, all electrics do work.

I'm afraid I can't help you then...sorry. Your picture is of velour, not cloth. And the seats I have here are cloth. I've replaced them for velour seats just like the one's pictured. Sorry Mick. The seats you are looking for are called 'Charcoal Empire Velour' and I've got 'Charcoal Texas cloth' seats.

Doorcards now gone, still have both front seats with runners, airbags and wiring loom and all parts of back seat. Last chance, all free! If no one wants anything, it'll all just be chucked away.
