I have been watching this story on the news today.Millions of pounds of (borrowed)taxpayers money being paid to staff at the M.O.D.,It puzzles me, maybe Im missing something,what are the bonuses for ? :-/ private companys often pay bonuses to employees  from profits earned,but I cant imagine the reasoning behind paying bonuses to admin staff etc, at the M.O.D. or any other government dept. :-/

I agree Albs --- but then I don't agree with the bonus culture anyway -- fair days pay for a fair days work is good enough.

What does puzzles me though is why the rest of the civil service is being decimated and on forzen pay while the MOD gets all this money for doing a crap job.

Tell me about it,I am a serving member of the TA and have been shit on from a great height in the 'budget cutback/u turn' and all along I bet the only reason they were trying to rob our money is so they can pay themselves nice big bonuses from the 'money saved'.What about the guys on the ground doing the job,they get nothing in the way of a bonus for turning up and doing their job and they don't do it from a nice comfy office.(Sorry about the rant guys and girls it just needed saying)
