I think it is a GPS-driven speed monitoring device for Motorsport use, poss with g-force meter etc?

Its a race technology performance logger....as designed by Martin Hill and his mate (who I know and used to work with his dad!)

Accelerometer based and some the latest ones use GPS to.

Correct.......no GPS ...just accelerometers.

It has a whole raft of functions...0-60mph.....in gear times.......50-70 mph in top gear ...etc ..etc
.......standing quarter mile time ......with terminal speed.
Roll out.....for drag racing....plus 60ft.....times......and one eighth mile times.
Very accurate braking distances .....and times.
It can also work out how much power a car is making.....provided you put in weight ...and drag.

I think I found some documentation for it trawling the web - if you're in need of any?

Pretty self-explanatory bit of kit though.

Other than that I dont know what transport you have.
