Son got his phone back today, working which is good, says on the letter with it Replaced display, replaced case, replaced battery and software upgrade. Anyway on further inspecton screen has been replaced software had been updated, not sure on the battery doesn't look new and the case has the same marks as it had before he sent it off.

Anything I could do about this other than write to them as why put replaced case when it clearly hasn't been??

The case consists of more than one part.

Yeah but the only thing replaced was the display which was stated above on the letter, nothing else has been replaced case wise  :-?

As I said above mate, the case consists of more than one part....which means it is more than possible that you can't even see the replacement part.

Fair point well made, blackberry did this to me told me they had given me a replacement battery, phone went off and came back without a battery too, got an 8900 curve out of them for that  ;D

Rather annoying though as they did say when I went in there saturday "it's been replaced" son was thinking ok new one good stuff but it's not  :(
