I've never driven a pallet truck (which is what features in the video), but I can say I've never encountered a forklift that could generate that much centrifugal force even when intentionally spun "on the spot".

But is he though? Assuming the video is authentic....... you have someone stood there with a mobile phone cam, so it is obviously staged at that point. Second point, the "stunt" was pulled in a space that was three times plus the circumference the pallet truck made....only person who's getting hurt if it goes wrong is the main star of the video (the video that is obviously pre-arranged). |

When i was a steel fabricator we had an old Caterpillar truck with a clutch & gears, if you wanted you could get off & it would just drive it's self. One day Brian thought it a good idea to put it on full lock & get off. Now this truck was going round & Brian walked away from it by a few feet. The truck just started to go faster & faster. Brian started to panic as at any moment the truck would've turned over, so he ran towards it & tried to knock it out of gear. But the forks were raised around a foot off the ground. I can still see him doing a hop. skip & a jump over the forks every time they came around ;D ;D ;D He did eventually hit the iginition swtich & it stopped, he was very fortunate that day ::) 2.5 tonne truck Vs man :o I was ready to run for the phone :'(

As active as my lifestyle is, I've never personally encountered an electric pallet truck. There is a good chance that someone I know has had experience with such hardware, but I couldn't say for sure as I tend to worry about the house of KW before I worry or get jealous of what others are doing. |

weve got an old electric rider truck-and, yep, you can do all this quite easily as the weight of the motor is on the one side which tends to aid the centrifugal force. Dont recommend it though!! ;D

Not even someone else involved. Looks like he set the camera up himself. You can hear his footsteps just as he returns to the camera, and his hand crossing the lens. He's none to bright even if he has thought it out a little. He'll definately have a well grazed right elbow and lower arm. He's wearing short sleeves and his right arm is firmly on the deck as he slides out of the picture. |

Eating a whole tin of Quality Street in one sitting would produce an almighty Noisette. ::) |
