Just had a water softener fitted and wondering if anyone knows the "best" way to buy the tablet salt it needs ??? I don't have room to store mega bags of the stuff ... 2-3 max

google is finding loads of places that will sell me a pallet load ... but methinks 30 bags is a tad much !!! :)

BnQ used to do individual bags, twas over 5 year ago now though.... :-/

If your limit is 2 - 3 bags, then you are paying punter price and then some on top.

Many thanks Mark ... £13 delivered is about the best I've seen for individual 25Kg bags .. :)

Did see £5.62 for 25Kgs .. if I bought 30 bags !!!!

I buy 2-3 bags at a time....makes it cheaper.

Interestingly, Travis Perkins normaly deliver it!

Thats interesting .. there's a TP less than 100 yards from me ... might just have to pop-in and have a look ... can't get a price of t'web as I'm not "trade" :(

I don't know if you have a jackson building centre near you but they sell split bags for £2.50 for 25kg

Got 3 bags from the local TP ... worked out at £10.30 a bag (inc VAT) they even carried them to the car for me.. :)

I've bought bags of salt via the internet and have also shared with neighbours to reduce the delivery charge. last lot was about £6.50/25Kg bag in the summer I think.

We use it at work , a pallet a week last place used to be a pallet a day ;)
