I have a problem with my central locking. All doors lock when button is pressed with the exception of the drivers door and because of this all locks re-open again.

Central locking works manually with the key, new key & fob purchased a few weeks ago and all was good until this morning.

Tried the re-sync function also,,,?

Mine was the same. A replacement door lock motor for the drivers door solved it. I could not get a drivers door one at the time but put in the one from a D
drivers rear door and that works perfectly. Cost me a tenner inc post. The only difference was the colour of the rod retaining plastic clips.
Hope you have small hands and can afford to lose a bit of skin too.

Could well be the drivers door soleniod is failing and needs replacing ;)

That is not a problem!  You get a woman like me to replace the solenoid! :D :D :D :D ;) ;)

No, seriously, if you undo the two (or is it 3?) bolts holding the door catch mechanism in place on the closure edge of the door the mechanism with solenoid will 'swing' out and down to be fully visable through an access opening in the door.  Two screws hold the solenoid in place which are easily visable, but just ensure the rod for the top lock button is properly engaged when you swing the complete unit back into position and refasten the bolts. ;) ;) ;)

Certainly sounds like the door motor is getting tired. They seem to be worse during cold, damp weather.

Some people may claim that lubing them up is a permentent cure, but 99% of the time, that will only be a temp fix...
