Have brought, kept longer than they would have, or (worryingly) sold their Omega because they enjoy (or not) coming on this forum so much?

Well,the fuel consumption is still crippling me on my 3.2 because i just couldent bear parting with it over a 56 plate vec cdti,and the fact that its a great place to be now and again. ;) :y

mine shall be going sometime in april, i shall be going for a 3 or 4.0 litre  s type jag i reckon.  :)

Mine will hopefully be going this week --- guy was going to pick it up friday --- but wanted to pay with a cheque .... yeah right !!!!

If it wasnt for discovering the forum I would have got shot of mine within 6 months of buying it.

I'm still thinking of doing that, hasn't started for 3 weeks  :'(

I sold my Omega 18 months ago and went and bought an MX5 which was good fun. I joined the MX5 owners club which has a forum and I also joines MX5nutz but I was still on this forum much more than the others. I have had a number of Omegas over the last 18 months, most have been broken for spares but I will be keeping one of the 2 diesels I bought a few months ago.

I see that they're having to plant a load of trees on the front to stop Formby being eaten by coastal erosion. I'll be digging the feckers up.

I have had mine for going on 8 years and it has been time for a change for quite a while now. But the car is absolutely magnificent on motorway - just purred to and back from Cornwall again this weekend and Manchester previous week - both destinations in one week over Christmas. Phaeton arrives in March but will keep Omega at least for a while.

Were it not for this site and the advice that has resolved so many issues I am sure I would have got rid of it a long time ago. The car running so well  makes the decision to replace difficult but the same car for such a long time is not very imaginative I suppose.

I think the original question was. Do you keep your Mig to stay on the forum? I was just thinking this weekend on a run to Wisbech on sunday picking up Consul parts how much i still love driving the Beastie..even slowly sometimes..no really i do! Broocie fitted the cruise before i bought her & Markey Mark has fitted FULL Recaro leather & doorcards, plus Full Bose & amp from an Elite plus engine & servicing work. Add decat powerflow s/s exhaust, not much if any faster but i like it & have no cat worries or expense.
    I recently left the forum (pillock) but would still kept the car cos i never tire of driving here. Had i not re joined the forum i'd still be driving & enjoying the car. :y

i had a 94 cd v6 2 years ago,loved that car it was like sittin in an armchair as for pullin the pikey box sh@t hot,swapped it for a landy disco then a vw sharan and now back to miggys be it a four pot but its a tad more economical.just fitted mi towbar off marky mark so ive still to test it that way but ive no intention of gettin shut but do still think sometimes should i have got a v

I keep thinking of selling, but cant bring myself to it!

Downside is I know that if sell the mig I cant go to meets etc like I used to + I wouldn't spend as much time on OOF  :-/
