PMSL. Anyone hoping to visit relatives in the U.S. for Christmas might want to consider an earlier flight. They 'aint going to make much progress against that. ;)

The Shetlands holds the unofficial British record for wind speed, which in 1962 was recorded at 177 mph (285 km/h) at RAF Saxa Vord—just before the measuring equipment blew away ;D
