unbelievable how quick some cops are to pull out the gun in any situation - shocking  :o

To be fair, you don't know the full situation. There was a very large group and several were aiming for him, especially the one that hit him in the head ;D ;D, so he's just trying to manage people.

Yes, he did over react but you don't know what else has happened off camera. I bet there's a good 10-20 minutes preamble to that footage :-? :-?

If a thrown snowball causes a bruise or pierces the skin that's GBH, simples....

Not so.  Especially when it's slippery.

Hmmm -- funny that there should be a TV crew there at the time. My guess he was set up and there was a fair bit of barracking going on before that clip was filmed.

Which ever way you look at it, pulling a 9 mil is OTT. If the crowd had the same or worse then yes, but snow balls ;D ;D ;D
