Title: Friends Reunited Post by Mr Skruntie.‹(•¿•)› on 24. Dec 2009 at 02:53
Joined it when it 1st started, fairly straight forward to use. But cost £5 a year to contact others, Not bad value for a year.
Then along came genes reunited, lloked good in theory, but my I tried to see my aunties family tree with all my family on it it seems it was privaliged info and wouldnt let me peek, so I walked away from it. Just had an email tonight seems my first girl friend (serious one at least) has been trying to get in touch.............. so I replied, will be interesting to catch up. |

Forgot to add, looking round friends reunited now, it seems far too involved with all the extra's live where we lived, work places etc, not as good as it started, seems over complicated compaired to thier initial intention. OK for some I suppose.

As much as I HATE to say it, I'm quite keen on FaceBook for locating old friends etc.
FriendsReunited........ has never 'reunited' me with a friend. I guess its all about userbase. If you have 3 million users, you only have (n%) chance of contacting a old friend. If you have a 30 million userbase, you have a (n * 10%) chance. Facebook seems to have taken over all and any Social Networking sites. Love it or hate it, it still 'rules'. |
