Due to have surgery in 3 weeks time on my ankle so need an automatic, fancy an omega elite, having had a cdx etc previously and a senator 24v some time back. So my question is how much should i expect to pay for a top spec omega? S or T Plate or maybe older for the right car, prefer pre facelift, want dark red black or blue and must have leather and have auto and cruise any help, suggestions greatly appreciated..

i would have a look in the for sale section on here 1st then autotrader and allow about a grand for a good one. :)

You missed a stunning Elite TD Auto on eGay a couple of weeks ago in Wednesbury. I went to have a look and it was spotless! It went for a little under £900.

I used to help out on the severn valley before my accident so been to kiddy a few to many times and of course stourport.

ive looked at that one a few times on fleabay.. didnt know if it was overpriced or right money i only know i sold my v plate omega 18 months ago for 500 quid and thats what they were making then, ok it wasnt an elite but bit out of touch, hence why i came here to be pointed in the right direction...

Thats not over priced Bob, its spot on IMO. I paid just over a grand for my facelift CDX on the same year couple months ago :y

He's a dealer so I'm sure he'd be open to offers. I'd want to look it over properly first though. It's one of the first facelifts so I might be tempted to look at 6 months older making it a mini-fl.

All these facelifts.. still a nice car.. I was thinking older than V anyhow as i prefer the older look, dont ask me why, guess it depends on the car that one is nice.

Are they problamatic or good cars, remember my senator was so reliable never had any issues.

thankyou, how helpfull, i just definatly need an auto with cruise control cos of my problems and preferably leather, nice colour see im too choosy, not worried if its old long as its a nice car....

Omega's are great cars!  Classless in my opinion and if you get the right one, very well specced!  Better than the equivalent BMW and alot cheaper too!

I'm the same, I've had it for about a month, but that gold paint with beige leather interior is not growing on me yet!

you cant see the colour when your sat in it thats what i tell her, she has a vectra sri, that she adores but it had to be any other colour than silver, if i look at a silver car she stops talking to me. she says they make her ill... women!

funnily enough i saw a gold elite in the local Asda today, it wasn't my favourite colour i must admit

i like the dark red on a omega with black leather that would be ideal choice but doesnt seem alot out there..

That works for me, though not sure about the beige  :-/

i had a champagne omega think it was a cd with beige leather, i bought it cos it was an auto this was years ago and i hated the interior that much i sold it.. so think i best give champagne / beige a miss.. didnt help the last owner had smoked like a train in it.. even stunk my garage out...

My mig is champagne and I like it. I think the facelift looks really well in that colour too, but my interior is dark, and I'm not sure I could handle the beige. Would probably need to rip the interior out and start again  :D

can see with dark interior it would work just not with beige.. but hey its still a seat and leather and comfy.

Mine is exactly the same,detests silver. Might be connected to scary memories from my silver shovitt that I had when I met her. :-/ ::)

Think its more grey than beige but it is hard to tell.

i had a brown shovitt think that would put any women off...

Mine was a bit quick and being driven by a 21  year old who thought that flat out everywhere was the only way to drive it. ::) ;D.............she was far from impressed. ;D ;D

Think that colour all came with either beige or shale interior (the deep, red wine colour paint?)

I must confess, I do feel that Champagne paint, beige leather inside, and a 2.5 v6 is just a little too homosexual for me....  ....probably the worse combination possible ;D

I don't know who would think the beige leather is a good look? I still like yours outside TB and maybe when you're looking rid ....  ::)    we'll see
