Title: No one wants it :(
Post by portomega on 01. Apr 2010 at 12:21
Been visiting numerous car dealers around south wales the last 2 weeks as sadly i think its time the Omega went as the cost of running it is too much  :'( been trying to get my hands on a diesel Mondeo, but everytime i find one i get the same response from the dealer "ohhh you want to part ex that omega?..nah mate, dont want it, would never get rid of it", best offer ive had was £800 against a £7000 mondeo, which i cant afford. Getting fed up now, feels like i'll either have to take a really low part ex deal or stick with the Omega until i save up a decent amount of cash ( not easy when it costs £70+ to fill it up each time lol ) i was hoping to get between £1500-£2000 for the Omega but maybe im dreaming!  ::) lol

eBay def worth a shot... I've had good luck with the last three cars I sold there - make sure you post up loads of pics and info  :y
Last one I sold my wife's old Fiat on there, and got £400 more than the dealer offered px - guy came all the way from Preston for it!

£98 to fill the Isuzu from empty at todays prices, and it gets filled twice a week minimum.

I wouldn't care if it cost me £500 a week to run it Tunnie, it pretty much all comes back when the tax returns are filed  ;)

Err yes! When they offered me full time, which comes with 33 days leave, which with my shift structure means 90 days off work, 33 x my daily rate + free sky tv, broadband calls, heath care, sick leave and such, works out more at end of the day  :)

Also better security (in the banks eyes)  for long term for mortgage applications

I surprised everyone by dragging my arse into the office today.  Then spent most of the afternoon around a colleagues house fixing his Wii ::)
