Worth checking if they are identical, I know the gaiters are different.

Just for future reference, the lever itself is the same between pre-face and facelift.

Oh, and the one on my "spares" car is broken too, which is why I didn't offer it.

No problem. When I went to check it yesterday, I had a Doh! moment when I remembered that it pulls up to the right so I suspect one side is broken.
